How to consign at Shimmer with one click:

Yes! All consignment drop-offs are by appointment only. You can book online in just a few minutes.

Please bring no more than 2 paper bags of items. No hangers please — just clean, folded clothing ready for review.

All items must be gently used to new condition. We cannot accept anything with stains, holes, odors, pet hair, or visible wear.

We love fun, fashionable pieces that are current (within the last 2 years) and in season. We accept clothing, shoes, and accessories.

We're unable to take professional wear, business casual, formal wear, swimwear, or leather skirts and pants.

Your items stay on the floor for 2 months. If they haven't sold by then, you have 7 days to pick them up before they move to the sale rack for another 30 days. After that period all unsold items become the Store property and / or will be donated to a local charity.

Not necessarily — we carefully curate what goes on the floor to keep our selection fresh and sellable. We'll let you know at your appointment what we can take.

Your Consignor Account is created for you automatically once your items are accepted. You will receive an invitation to the email address you provided, with a link to set up your account. From there, you can choose your password, update your personal information, and add your bank account for payouts.

Your Consignor Account is your personal window into your consignment activity at Shimmer Boutique. Once your items are accepted, you can log in at any time to see which items are active, track your payout balance as items sell, and request your earnings via bank transfer or make a new appointment.

When your items sell, you earn 35% of the final sale price as a cash payout, or 40% if you choose to receive it as in-store credit. You can request your earnings at any time via bank transfer, a check mailed to your address, or cash in person at the store for amounts under $100, subject to availability.
